Too Much Information

As I am reading articles in my industry (technology consulting) I realize one of the reasons I have trouble staying on track with managing my time is the fact that most articles (online), which is about all I read these days, always have links to other articles, websites, etc. So, inevitably I click on one or more of those links to check out the content. I realized this click through to relevant information is costing me sometimes double the amount of time it takes to read the article.
What’s the solution?  I’m not sure but I am going to think on it for a while and try some different techniques.
